A demo of the capabilities of the USNO AA Data Services APIs

The United States Naval Observatory Astronomy Applications Data Services are being converted to APIs. This app makes use of the available APIs to provide: images of some of the planets and moons in the solar system, maps of daylight on the Earth at a particular date and time, lists of upcoming lunar phases, sunrise/sunset and moon rise/set/phase information for locations in the United States (by name) and international locations (by coordinates).

Current available APIs:

- Complete Sun and Moon Data for One Day

- Lunar Phases

- Day and Night Across the Earth

- Apparent Disk of a Solar System Body
